British Aerosol Manufacturers’ Association awards winners revealed

On 13-14 October, the British Aerosol Manufacturers’ Association hosted a very special forum and awards, celebrating its 60th anniversary.

Over two days at the beautiful Carden Park in Cheshire, the event welcomed speakers from all areas of the industry, covering topics such as recycling, sustainability, cosmetics, consumer trends, refillable aerosols, UK and EU regulation and much more.

On the evening of 13 October, attendees gathered for a special dinner and awards ceremony, celebrating some of the most exciting recent aerosol innovations.

Pritchard Spray Technology scooped the coveted Aerosol of the Year award for its innovative product, VirusEnd, which has seen enormous success during the pandemic.

In a LinkedIn post, Grace Pritchard, marketing and special projects coordinator at Pritchard Spray Technology, commented: “Wish you could have been there Michael Pritchard [CEO]. Everyone congratulated you on such amazing and fast innovation. Well done, you’re changing the world yet again.”

Here are the winners, along with the runners-up and highly commended entries of the BAMA Awards 2021:

Runner-up – LINDAL Group, BAB

Process Safety & Training

Winner – Coster, apprentice programme

Runner-up – Cascade, multi-propellant leak detector

Highly commended – Alloway, stem lean vision system

Sustainability

Winner – Plastipak, Stay Safe

Runner-up – KDC/ONE Swallowfield, multi-propellant leak detector

Highly commended – LINDAL Group, Mini Engine

Aerosol Packaging

Winner – Ball, Dove Men+Care limited Lions edition

Runner-up – LINDAL Group, 3D Configurator

Aerosol in Action

Winner – Pritchard Spray Technology, for its poignant image of VirusEnd
