Zenova Group PLC has announced the first shipment of 7,500 units of Zenova FX500 aerosol fire extinguishers to Clastrom, its German sub-distributor, from the UK.
This is the first shipment out of a total order of 40,000 units that Clastrom has placed for the Zenova FX500. The retail value is £1.2 million (€1.39m).
The FX500 aerosol fire extinguisher is easy to use, effective on all types of fires including oil, electrical and ordinary household fires, according to Zenova Group.
It added that the product is small enough to take anywhere for fire safety and protection.
The FX 500 has been tested to the BS6165 standard, the company went on to say.
Its unique features include being able to operate it at any orientation - even upside down - without impairing its delivery effectiveness and will extinguish a lithium-ion battery fire, added the firm.
The efficiency of its Zenova-developed fluid makes the possibility of re-ignition very unlikely, said Zenova Group.
