BAMA Forum and Awards returns with two new categories

The British Aerosol Manufacturers' Association's annual Forum and Awards will return to the East Midlands Conference Centre and Orchard Hotel, Nottingham on 21–22 October 2026, sponsored by plastic component and valve manufacturer Aptar Beauty.

The two-day conference will feature keynote speakers covering policy, regulation and sustainability, with an interactive session planned for the second day.

On the evening of day one, guests will be entertained by UK stand-up comedian Marcus Brigstocke before the award winners are announced.

For 2026, BAMA has introduced two new categories: the Social and Community Initiative Award and Young Person of the Year.

The additions sit alongside the existing categories, which include New Aerosol of the Year, Process, Safety and Training, Sustainability, Aerosol Packaging, Aerosol Marketing Campaign of the Year and the Aerosols in Action Photography award.

BAMA Chief Executive Patrick Heskins said the new categories reflect broader trends within the membership. "More and more companies are investing in social and community initiatives, and we are seeing more young people coming into the industry and excelling," he said.

The deadline for award entries is 28 August 2026. Further information and registration are available at bama.co.uk/event/BAMAForum26.
