Bradford Labs Inc. has launched a new brand identity that unites two longstanding personal care manufacturers — Bradford Soap Works Inc. and Solo Laboratories Inc. — under a single platform.
West Warwick, Rhode Island-based Bradford Labs brings together Bradford Soap Works, founded in 1876 and a specialist in solid personal care manufacturing, and Solo Laboratories, a recognised leader in aerosol, liquid, and hot pour product development, following Bradford's acquisition of Solo in 2025. The combined business claims nearly 250 years of combined manufacturing experience.
The rebrand positions Bradford Labs as a full-service development and contract manufacturing partner serving masstige and prestige brands across aerosol, liquid, solid, and hot pour formats, with applications spanning skin, hair, body, and home care, as well as OTC drug products.
Bradford Soap Works built its reputation across vertically integrated solid personal care manufacturing, including custom soap and syndet base development and bar formulations covering cleansing, shampoo, conditioner, shave, and OTC categories. Solo Laboratories contributes advanced aerosol and liquid formulation expertise alongside scalable manufacturing capabilities across creams, lotions, gels, pomades, and related formats.
The company operates four facilities across the East Coast, Midwest, and West Coast, and has launched a new website at bradfordlabs.com to showcase its expanded research and development resources.
Shaun Gaus, president and CEO of Bradford Labs, said the rebrand reflects 'an unmet need in the market' for integrated solutions across multiple formats. 'This rebrand reinforces our expanded capabilities while also celebrating Bradford's 150-year legacy of delivering agility, innovation, and best-in-class quality,' he said.
