Aerosol Valve & Actuator leader PRECISION has announced the launch of two "radically innovative" actuators" - SMART 35 & STYLISH 52 - which it said are powered by the disruptive STORM® Technology.
These are the first actuators to utilise this technology, which negates the need for the insert whilst keeping excellent spray quality according to PRECISION.
SMART 35 and STYLISH 52 are also afforded "radical designs" - with one piece, no insert, they are extremely light and feature no overcap.
The company said this new generation of actuators offers aerosol industry players an innovative solution to the increasingly complex question: how can we generate savings whilst improving sustainability?

It offers the same functionalities as current, more complex, heavier actuators - including the spray quality, it added. The product is the "ultimate reference for combining savings and sustainability", as the cup-fitting actuator makes it possible to optimise packaging and inventory costs by using SMART 35 for a complete range of different can diameters.

It offers a superior top-load resistance, according to the firm, despite its ultra light weight. STYLISH 52 is a spraycap fitting 52mm diameter tin plate cans.
