HCPA Innovation Awards 2020 winners announced

The Household and Consumer Products Association (HCPA) has recognised its members in the second annual Innovation Awards 2020.

The awards, which celebrate accomplishments in product innovation and sustainability, were allocated in the following categories: ingredients, sustainability, consumer communication, technology, and ‘game-changer’.

Procter & Gamble won the technology award for its 100% polymer aerosol container – a fully recyclable aerosol system recognised by the Association of Plastic Recyclers.

“The household and commercial products industry makes significant contributions to society every day – a fact that was highlighted by the coronavirus pandemic,” said Steve Caldeira, president and CEO of HCPA.

“Despite the challenging year, these companies still raised the bar in creating products that help improve lives. I am honoured to recognise these achievements and applaud the entire industry for their commitment to developing cutting-edge formulations, products, and initiatives, year-after-year.”
