Data is vital to industry growth and innovation

Without participation from aerosol manufacturers, the HCPA Aerosol Pressurized Products Survey cannot share important data to support industry growth.

On 13 January, World Aerosols attended a webinar by the Household & Commercial Products Association (HCPA) addressing a concerning lack of responses to the annual Aerosol Pressurized Products Survey.

Every year, aerosol manufacturers report production data in various categories - such as personal care, pharmaceutical, household, and insecticides - to the Aerosol Pressurized Products Survey. Now in its 71st year, the survey aims to provide a comprehensive snapshot, helping businesses to gauge overall growth in the industry and plan their investments accordingly. The survey is also used to communicate with legislators and regulators. However, there has been a surprisingly low response to the latest survey, meaning there is very little data available for US aerosol production.
