The British Aerosols Manufacturers’ Association (BAMA) will hold this year’s BAMA Forum and Awards on Wednesday 12 and 13 October 2022 at Carden Park, Cheshire.

Day one of the Forum will begin at 12pm with registration and lunch and will end at approximately 5pm – followed by a short annual general meeting (AGM) for members only.

BAMA’s Awards Dinner will take place on the evening of day one, from 6.30pm. This ceremony is “the perfect opportunity to highlight many of the UK Industry's success stories to guests and BAMA members, sharing best practice and recognising innovative skills across the industry,” according to the association. A guest speaker will address the event after dinner.

Award entries are now open for BAMA members, closing on 31 August. Winners will receive £500, and runners up £250, with a BAMA Award bringing public recognition for brands, companies and teams.

Categories include Aerosol of the Year – a new aerosol product made in the UK but sold anywhere in the world; Aerosol Packaging – aerosol packaging made in the UK but sold anywhere in the world, and can include the can/actuator/valve/new branding or update in design; Sustainability – product or company-related; Process Safety and Training – product or company-related, including apprenticeship schemes and HR initiatives; Aerosol in Action Photography.

The second day will begin at 9.30 am with an interactive session and is expected to close at 2pm with a buffet lunch. At the time of writing, the full programme is being finalised.

A special members’ rate with the venue has been agreed at £260, to include attendance and lunch on both Conference days, attendance of the AGM and Awards Dinner and accommodation and breakfast.

Non-members may not attend the conference but are encouraged to attend the awards dinner, at the invitation of a BAMA member. The cost for dinner guests is £80.00+VAT, or dinner and accommodation at the rate of £260.00+VAT.
