Aerofil to unveil augmented reality tour of new aerosol line at ADF New York
North America’s leading independent aerosol and liquid contract fillers, Aerofil, will unveil an augmented reality (AR) tour of its new high-speed aerosol line at ADF & PCD New York.
The event, held at the Altman Building in Manhattan, will provide a platform for Aerofil to lead visitors through its new fully automated high-speed personal care product aerosol line via an interactive experience. Aerofil’s AR technology will offer attendees the chance to experience its 400,000 square foot facility - which will go into commission in the week of September 23 – in 3D.
The firm’s new aerosol line features a fully automated low-level depalletiser, zero-pressure conveyer to handle steel, aluminium and plastic containers, two 24-head gravity fillers accurate to +/- 3g, two checkweighers, two gassers, a valve sorter and placer capable of placing steel and non-magnetic valves, a clip-style waterbath for steel, aluminium and plastic, a Krones high-speed pressure-sensitive labeller, a case-erector, packer and sealer, a bundler for inner packs and club store packs and robotic palletising.
