Doctor Aromas, a specialist in fine fragrance delivery systems, has introduced Pet Perfumes — a line of salon-grade fragrance aerosols formulated specifically for canine grooming and coat care. The product launches in two scents: Belle and Bleu, each in 90ml bottles at a suggested retail price of $24.99.
The aerosol formulation applies essential-oil-based fragrance to dog coats between bathing cycles. The spray delivery mechanism enables fine misting at safe distances from facial areas (eyes, ears, nose, mouth), providing controlled application to coat surfaces without saturation.
The formulation addresses a critical gap in pet grooming products: most conventional pet fragrances rely on heavy synthetic musks and high alcohol content unsuitable for canine skin sensitivity.
Doctor Aromas applied its fine fragrance standards — ingredient quality prioritisation, low-concentration formulation and safety-first design — to a canine-specific aerosol product.
The product is formulated for dogs' heightened olfactory sensitivity, estimated at tens of thousands of times more sensitive than human perception. Concentrations are intentionally low and pH-balanced for canine skin, avoiding saturation whilst providing freshening effects.
The aerosol formulation specifies:
- No parabens, phthalates or synthetic dyes
- Pet-appropriate essential oils exclusively, always diluted and never at application concentration
- Low concentration mist delivery avoiding direct facial application
- Gradual introduction protocol with veterinary consultation recommended for animals with known sensitivities
