Mauro Tenés elected President of Spanish Aerosol Association

Mauro Tenés elected President of Spanish Aerosol Association
The Asociación Española de Aerosoles (AEDA), Spain's national aerosol industry association, has elected Mauro Tenés of IGEPAK, S.A. as its new President, succeeding José Luis Macías.

Tenés was confirmed in the role during AEDA's Members' Assembly, held on 11 June in Barcelona, which also marked the association's celebration of 100 years of the aerosol package.

The gathering formed part of AEDA Forum 2026, the organisation's flagship annual industry event, which this year included the fifth edition of the AEDA Aerosol Awards alongside sessions on market trends, technology and innovation featuring speakers from across the European aerosol sector.

Announcing the appointment on LinkedIn, AEDA said Tenés was taking on the role "with enthusiasm and great excitement" as he begins a new stage for the organisation focused on opportunities and growth.

AEDA represents the various branches of Spain's aerosol industry, from component and chemical suppliers through to fillers and product manufacturers, and is a member of the European Aerosol Federation (FEA), through which it contributes to EU-wide aerosol regulation and standards.
