The German Aerosol Association - Industrie-Gemeinschaft Aerosole e.V. (IGA) - has appointed Dr Andrea Weber as its new managing director, effective 1 July 2026. She succeeds Matthias Ibel, who led the association for three decades before retiring.
The IGA thanked Ibel for his long-standing commitment and contribution to the association and the wider industry over his tenure.
Weber takes up the role at a time when the aerosol industry is navigating significant challenges and opportunities, particularly around sustainability and regulation. The IGA said it looks forward to working with its new managing director and faces the future with confidence.
