Highline Warren acquires Sprayway cleaning brand

Founded in 1947, Sprayway is best known for its original foaming glass cleaner and has built a strong reputation for ammonia-free, streak-free performance.
The brand is the second-largest in the US glass-cleaner market by unit share and records the category’s highest sales velocity.
Its range has expanded beyond glass care to include liquid cleaners, wipes, household surface care, automotive appearance products and industrial solutions.
Highline Warren said the acquisition presents significant growth opportunities across retail, e-commerce and business-to-business channels.
The company plans to use its nationwide distribution network and supply chain capabilities to increase Sprayway’s availability while also developing new product lines.
Darcy Curran, chief executive of Highline Warren, said Sprayway was a “well-regarded, growing brand with loyal consumers and retail partners”.
“We’re thrilled to welcome Sprayway into our expanding portfolio of maintenance consumables,” Curran said. “By leveraging our national distribution footprint and industry-leading fill rates, we expect to broaden access to the brand and continue to drive distribution growth, while introducing new products that meet customer needs.”
Fenton Challgren, chief executive of PLZ Corp., said Sprayway had grown strongly across retail channels in recent years and was well positioned for further expansion.
“Joining Highline Warren creates a platform to accelerate innovation in adjacent markets such as automotive and industrial cleaning, while maintaining the professional-grade quality customers trust,” he said.
Highline Warren said the deal would enable it to extend the Sprayway brand into new categories, deepen customer engagement and significantly broaden the brand’s presence across a wide range of retail and distribution channels.
