CCL Industries appoints two new directors
Linda A Cash and Dr Susana Suarez-Gonzalez have been appointed to the board of directors and Mandy J Shapansky, chair of the firm’s corporate social responsibility committee and member of the audit committee, has retired.
Cash has spent 36 years as a senior executive with extensive global manufacturing and operations experience in the automotive industry. CCL hopes Cash will bring expertise in manufacturing and operations, engineering, innovation and sustainability and a deep understanding of global markets in which the CCL operates.
Dr Suarez-Gonzalez is currently executive vice-president and chief human resources officer, and chief diversity and inclusion officer of International Flavours and Fragrances, a global manufacturer of flavours and fragrances for the food, beverage, personal care, and household products industries. Dr Suarez-Gonzalez is a multi-lingual executive who brings to the board extensive global experience in human resources, succession planning and talent management, and diversity, equity, and inclusion, along with broad manufacturing and operations experience in business sectors in which CCL operates.

CCL employs around 21,700 people, operating 188 production facilities in 42 countries. The company is a major converter of pressure-sensitive and speciality extruded film materials for a range of decorative, instructional, functional, and security applications for government institutions and large global customers in the consumer packaging, healthcare & chemicals, consumer electronic device, and automotive markets. It also produces aluminium aerosol & speciality bottles, among others.
