TricorBraun acquires Packaging Solutions Inc.
Major packaging firm TricorBraun has acquired Minneapolis, US-based Packaging Solutions Inc. (PSI), a packaging distributor serving markets including personal care and pharmaceutical.
PSI has more than 25 years of experience in the industry as a distributor and custom designer of a full range of containers, closures and component options in plastic, metal and glass. Court Carruthers, president and CEO of TricorBraun, said: “Our acquisition of PSI strengthens our Minneapolis presence as we continue to grow across North America.
“We look forward to serving our customers in this region with exceptional products and services, and we welcome PSI to the TricorBraun family.”
Members of the PSI team, including owners Doug and John Greenberg, will remain with TricorBraun and the team will continue to work from its existing location. However, the Packaging Solutions Inc. name will no longer be used and the company will operate as TricorBraun. Doug Greenberg, president of PSI, said: “For more than two decades, we’ve made our mark on the packaging industry and we are excited to start our next chapter with TricorBraun.

TricorBraun’s portfolio includes a range of packaging types, including sprayer pumps and dispensers. The company has also worked on aerosol products in the personal care sector.
