In 2019, two of the world’s biggest names in packaging joined forces to establish Trivium Packaging.

Formed of Ardagh’s food and speciality metal packaging business and Exal Corporation, Trivium – which in Latin stands for three roads coming together – set out to become a global leader in metal packaging.

Headquartered in the Netherlands, Trivium operates 57 production facilities, mainly in Europe and the Americas, employing around 7,800 people. The company serves a range of multinational, regional, and local customers operating in a wide array of end-markets, including food, personal care, household care, and premium beverages.

So, what’s going on behind the scenes at one of the world’s metal packaging giants and how has the past year and a half shaped the company?
