Aerosol Association of Australia postpones awards gala dinner

The Aerosol Association of Australia has postponed its awards gala dinner due to ongoing challenges posed by the pandemic.

Since rescheduling its ‘aerosol2020’ event to September 2021, the association further postponed the event due to the COVID-19 Delta variant emerging in New South Wales and spreading to other states, leading to increased restrictions.

“Unfortunately, the current situation in NSW looks especially challenging in today’s announcement of the extension of that state’s lockdown for a further four weeks means that the outlook for our event on 16 September is not promising,” said the association.

“Accordingly, and in the interests of ensuring a safe event which delivers the maximum value to attendees and sponsors, the association’s executive has resolved to reschedule the event to 16 November 2021

“We thank you for your continued patience and acknowledge the support of our sponsors, event organisers and Pier One Hotel – all of whom share our commitment to delivering a world-class celebration of innovation and excellence in the aerosol industry – and look forward to seeing you at our event on 16 November.”

The Australian Aerosol Industry Awards are still open, with the closing date for entries now extended to 15 October.
