Together with its partner DFNS, TUBEX Rangendingen received an ADF Award (Aerosol & Forum Award) for the design and functionality of the aluminium can for the adidas CARE by DFNS Footwear Protector powered by alu-air.
TUBEX also received an ADF certificate together with PPG, for the joint development of an innovative internal coating especially for wine and wine-based drinks in aluminium bottles.

TUBEX's knowledge and experience in aerosol can tooling has been instrumental in the production of the innovative adidas CARE by DFNS Footwear Protector aluminium aerosol can, which was recognised for its cutting-edge design and functionality, it added.
"The aluminium can not only has a cutting-edge design – it is also powered by alu-air and cuts emissions by 79% compared to traditional aerosols," said the company. "The adidas CARE aluminium can is an eyecatcher on the point of sale and testament that sustainability and design perfectly match."
Receiving an ADF certificate for the collaborative development with PPG for an advanced internal lacquer solution, especially for wine and sparkling wine for aluminium bottles was the cherry om the cake at the Award Ceremony, added the business.
