QEP Co., Inc. has completed the acquisition of substantially all assets of Spray-Lock, Inc., a developer and manufacturer of premium aerosol spray adhesives for flooring and wall applications, effective 1 September. Financial terms were not disclosed.
The acquisition advances QEP's strategy of broadening its core adhesives platform by integrating Spray-Lock's patented spray-applied technology, proprietary water-based formulations and technical expertise into its existing flooring installation solutions.
Spray-Lock's aerosol-applied formulations are engineered to simplify installation, reduce adhesive consumption compared with traditional trowel-applied alternatives, and deliver moisture and pH tolerance alongside low-volatile organic compound content and time-saving installation benefits. The product range spans luxury vinyl tile and plank, sheet flooring, vinyl composition tile, carpet tile, rubber flooring, underlayment, wall coverings and fibre-reinforced plastic wall panel applications.

The Spray-Lock business now operates within QEP's North American operations, with QEP working closely with the Spray-Lock team, customers and business partners to ensure an orderly transition and continuity of service.
