Summit opens new aerosol production facility in Toluca, Mexico

The 3,500-square-metre site, inaugurated on 7 August 2025, features two advanced high-speed valve assembly lines capable of producing around 250 million units annually, based on a standard five-day work week.
A team of 15 production staff and seven administrative employees has been trained across Summit’s global factory network to ensure consistent quality and service for the Mexican market.
The Toluca facility represents a key step in Summit’s vertical integration strategy, initially supported by components from its global headquarters, with plans to expand local production over time.
The approach aims to enhance supply chain flexibility, reduce costs, and minimise potential disruptions, reflecting the company’s focus on meeting evolving customer demands.
The site also demonstrates Summit’s commitment to local partnerships, serving the domestic aerosol market with responsive and adaptive solutions.
Operating under strict ISO and BRC quality standards, Toluca is the company’s eighth production facility worldwide, joining a network of more than 1,000 employees across over 100,000 square metres of production space.
Arturo Morales has been appointed General Manager of the Toluca plant, bringing 23 years of experience in production, quality, and engineering at Crown Beverage.
