Salvalco to launch Eco-Inverted ball valve next year

news item image
Salvalco has announced it is extending its Eco-Valve family further, with its Eco-Inverted ball valve.
Designed specifically for use with inert gas propellants such as nitrogen, the new valve will deliver all the great benefits of Eco-Valve including superior performance while minimising environmental impact, according to the company.
It is currently in development, and is planned to be available at the end of 2025.
The ball valve works in the same way as its predecessor, but can be used in a more ergonomic way - and upside down.
According to the company, this functionality makes it an ideal application for a range of categories including suncare and whole body sprays, making it useful for those harder-to-reach body parts.
Rob Parkes, sales director at Salvalco said: “We are really excited to improve the flexibility and functionality of the Eco-Valve range with the new inverted capability. The Eco-Inverted technology responds directly to the consumer and brand owner’s need for an ergonomic and sustainable aerosol format and we are delighted to be able to offer a solution that meets that requirement.
"And with evolving trends such as whole body spray which demand effective spray functionality from every angle, this innovation provides the perfect solution. With growing interest in the valve already, we look forward to moving its development forward and getting ready for launch at the end of next year.”
