Precise Packaging opens new production facility in US
Aerosol and liquid products firm Precise Packaging has opened a new production facility in Massachusetts, US. The company, acquired by PLZ Aeroscience in August, is a leading contract manufacturing partner of aerosol and liquid products for premier brands in the personal care, home fragrance and over-the-counter (OTC) end markets.
The new 15,000 square-foot production facility is located in Fall River, Massachusetts, less than a mile from the firm’s headquarters. The site will increase Precise Packaging’s capacity and capabilities to support product innovation and grow its customer base. It features two custom liquid filling lines with room for expansion, as well as a new shrink sleever for ‘enhanced decoration’ of cans and jars. The company also added an automated shrink bundler to its aerosol production at its headquarters to provide improved options for shrink bundling products and cut down costs.
As part of the company’s growth initiative, Precise has hired two new chemists, a lab support technician, a sales/project engineer and a customer service representative.
