On January 17 & 18, Paris Packaging Week is set to bring a showcase of packaging excellence to Paris Expo Porte de Versailles, hosting 650 exhibitors in the world’s capital city of the luxury and beauty industries.
All exhibitor slots are filled at ADF, PCD, PLD and Packaging Première Paris as the award-winning event aims to build on another year of success.
The showcase provides drinks, luxury, beauty, and FMCG brands with the sourcing opportunities and expertise to help shape the future of their packaging designs. A packed show floor will be complemented by an exciting programme of speakers, innovation galleries and networking events set to be announced in due course.
Paris Packaging Week brings together four events each designed to drive packaging business and innovation in a specific market.
PCD covers perfume, cosmetics, and personal care packaging; ADF is the forum for aerosol and dispensing solutions and is organised in partnership with the European aerosol federation, the FEA; PLD is for the premium drinks segment, especially wine and spirits; and Packaging Premiére is dedicated to luxury products such as watches, jewellery, fashion, confectionery and fine food.
The four-way event continues its impressive growth year-on-year, with the 2023 event attracting a record total of almost 9,000 visitors, representing over 2,500 brand owners and design agencies from across the world.
Its success was also recognised with two prestigious industry awards; the AEO Excellence Award for Best International Show – Europe, and the Exhibition News Award for Best International Trade Show, marking it out as a must-attend event in the packaging industry calendar.
Josh Brooks, marketing director of Paris Packaging Week at event organiser Easyfairs, is anticipating another excellent event, saying: “Paris Packaging Week has built a position at the heart of packaging innovation for beauty, drinks, luxury and aerosol-based products. With more exhibitors than ever on the show floor next year, Paris is the place to be for brands, designers, and packaging producers looking to stay on the cutting edge of every trend.
“It is a privilege for us to be trusted by the world’s top packaging suppliers and brand owners, as well as many new participants, to create the forum that defines packaging in the year to come; and we can’t wait to welcome them to the event. Save the date – Paris Packaging Week is back as the packaging sector’s must-visit expo.”
This year’s event also sees a number of new exhibitors participate in Paris for the first time, including paper and packaging specialist Mondi, up and coming brand Addison, and German engineering giant ThyssenKrupp.
Christian Weers, communications and market development at ThyssenKrupp, which will take part in ADF, looked ahead to the event, saying: “For the first time, ThyssenKrupp Rasselstein is taking part in Paris Packaging Week with its own booth at the ADF.
“At the ADF fair we will be showcasing our CO2-reduced tinplate made from bluemint® Steel and our innovative Rasselstein® packaging steel grades specially designed for aerosol can bodies, mounting cups and aerosol can tops and bottoms.
“We look forward to participating, which for us is primarily a meeting point for communicating with all partners in the value chain and underlines our strategic importance in the aerosol market.”
