Industrial aerosol manufacturer B’laster acquires AC Avalanche
AC Avalanche manufactures recharging systems for automotive air conditioners. With this acquisition, B’laster nearly doubles its revenue.
Randy Pindor, president and COO of B’laster, said: “The acquisition of AC Avalanche strengthens our portfolio of automotive aftermarket brands. We are excited to welcome the employees into our B’laster family and leverage the added size and product offerings to build on our strong foundation with our customers.”
AC Avalanche’s product lines include Avalanche Gold, Black Diamond Premium and A/C Avalanche automotive refrigerants, as well as recharging hoses and adapters. Its products are sold at key national retailers including AutoZone, NAPA Auto Parts, O’Reilly and Walmart. The existing B’laster portfolio includes B’laster-branded penetrants, lubricants and greases, and Metal Rescue rust remover.
Pindor added: “This deal represents the strategic evolution of the B’laster brand legacy and builds on our many years of success. As we look to the future, we are also keeping our focus on innovation and organic growth to complement this acquisition. Above all, we remain rooted in our core values and the belief that consumers deserve products that work.”
AC Avalanche will remain in Arlington, Texas, while B’laster will continue to operate out of its corporate headquarters in Valley View, Ohio. The firm plans to hire staff in Valley View to support both divisions.
