Baston, a Brazilian aerosol producer, recently won ‘Aerosol of the Year’ from ABAS, for its Antiseptic Protective Adhesive. Technical director Lucilia Costa tells World Aerosols about the company.
Located in a small town in the interior of Paraná, Baston specialises in aerosol packaging. It works with both its own brands, and with third-party clients. With 1,800 employees, it works with its own brands as well as third-party clients. The organisation has production lines for cosmetics, cleaning products, household cleaning products, automotive products, paints and veterinary products.
As technical director, Costa is responsible for the areas of research and development (R&D), quality, safety and occupational medicine, projects, environment, operational excellence, production planning control and maintenance.
