Ball agrees to sell tinplate steel aerosol packaging facilities in Argentina
Packaging company Ball has announced an agreement to sell its tinplate steel aerosol packaging facilities in Garin and San Luis, Argentina.
The firm is selling its facilities to Envases del Plata S.A, an Argentinian metal packaging company. The deal is expected to close later this year.
Ahead of the sale, Ball will continue to serve the growing demand for sustainable aluminium aerosol containers and aluminium slugs worldwide via its eight facilities in Canada, France, India, Mexico, Czech Republic, the UK and the US. The global venture will continue to be led by vice president and general manager Stan Platek.
