Pioneering aerosol wins 2018 Applause Awards

A large manufacture of rigid plastic packaging products, Pact, has had an employee win the 2018 annual Applause Awards. Kate Everitt prevailed over the other 364 ideas that were submitted for consideration with her innovative aerosol.

The awards celebrate innovative thinking, operational excellence, superior safety systems and progressive sustainability initiatives.

Everitt won for her ‘healthy air’ idea. The Pact employee developed a range of aerosols and other inhalant formats. Each will be filled with nutraceutical activities that quickly and effectively improve and enrich the air that we breathe to increase health and wellness. The aerosols provide the health benefits of your everyday tablet in an easy and simple format.

Everitt received $7,500 (€6,600) at the awards ceremony for winning and will be receiving a further $7,500 once she has secured her first costumer order.

This year, on its online platform, the Applause Programme had been voted for more than 1,500 times and also received over 200 comments of encouragement by online users.
