LINDAL Group launches new actuator for food applications
Aerosol dispensing firm LINDAL Group has launched a new actuator designed predominantly for food applications, such as edible oils.
Officially unveiled at ADF&PCD and PLD Paris in January, the 35mm Olive actuator is available as an alternative to the firm’s Cozy actuator.
Kashif Choudhry, group marketing manager, said: “Although the new actuator straddles both food and personal care market segments, we anticipate high use for products such as olive oil.”
Like the Cozy actuator, Olive features a thermoplastic elastomer (TPE) finger pad and is available with an oil insert. The actuator is also compatible with the company’s Cozy overcap and is suitable for use with the LI valve and male bag-on-valve. According to Lindal, the TPE material is ideal for the soft-touch grip required for firm dispensing and bespoke colours are available for specific projects.
Choudhry added: “The launch of Olive has been driven from research and feedback from our customers, which has led us to further enhance our product portfolio when it comes to food applications.
“We have seen Cozy become immensely popular over the last few years and it has clearly defined itself as the market-leading actuator for oil applications. The new launch mirrors the demand for this kind of product and reflects our objective to keep on supplying what our customers need.”
