Argentina has received a batch of donated mosquito repellents from Mexico, following the government's removal of obstacles to their importation - due to lack of stock and an increase of dengue cases.
CE Noticias Financieras reported the donation consists of 22,320 units of SC Johnson's 'Off Family' product.
As a donation from SC Johnson, the units will be delivered to the organisation Caritas, which is due to deliver the repellents to various vulnerable neighbourhoods.
The total donation consists of 120,000 repellents, which are due to arrive in the coming days.
In addition to this, a commercial shipment will be sent to supermarket shelves from Poland, according to the publication.
"With the aim of maximising production even more, we are exceptionally importing supplies by air, bringing in more quickly those assets used for the manufacture of OFF!, Fuyi and Raid," said SC Johnson.
"In addition, in a measure that demands enormous efforts, and in order to provide repellents to Argentines, we are importing products from Poland, among other markets, which will be arriving soon."
