Nivea India appoints Geetika Mehta as MD
Mehta brings extensive experience from almost twenty years at Hindustan Unilever across various divisions and responsibilities, said the company.
The organisation lauded Mehta's successful career in the FMCG sector, emphasising her track record in developing small businesses and overseeing large-scale corporations across multiple markets, including South Asia, Thailand, Brazil and South Africa.
Nivea is owned by Germany-based Beiersdorf, and its brand portfolio includes Nivea spray deodorant, La Prairie and Hansaplast.
Through its affilitate Tesa SE, Beiersdorf also manufactures technical adhesive tapes and offers self-adhesive solutions to various industries, businesses and consumers.
Commenting on her new role, Mehta stated: “As we navigate the ever-evolving skincare landscape, my focus will be on driving innovation, enhancing customer experience and further solidifying Nivea's position as the skincare of choice for millions of Indians."
