Mist:Understood Aerosol & Pressurised Packaging Virtual Classroom launched in late 2021 as a free, credible resource for aerosol and pressurised packaging education.
Since then, it has provided education to over 250 unique users across a range of industries and skill levels. Over half of registrants have completed one or more course.
It has just announced its latest course - Aerosol Recycling 201 - which will be taught by Gary Okey, executive vice president at Recycle Aerosol, according to SprayTM.
The course level is "beginner", and the contents will describe proper aerosol recycling primarily for unsalable, pressurised aerosols produced by the aerosol industry.
Topics will include US recycling, non-empty aerosol can recycling, changes in waste status, universal waste, safe aerosol recycling and sustainable aerosol recycling strategies.
