Harald Jessen has been appointed as the new chief financial officer at leading global aerosol dispensing company, LINDAL.
He succeeds former chief financial officer Manfred Schnor, who retires after 10 years with the company.
Jessen brings extensive financial and business expertise from over 15 years in international strategic and operational management positions and supervisory board activities.
He has worked for some well-known international - and mostly family-owned - companies and consultancies. Throughout his career Harald has driven major transformations in diverse settings as well as complex M&A and IT projects.
Based at LINDAL’s headquarters in Hamburg, Germany, Jessen will become the third managing director of LINDAL alongside Francois-Xavier Gilbert and Frédéric Noel.
Jessen said: “I am honoured by the trust the shareholders have placed in me and the opportunity to actively shape the strategic path of the LINDAL Group in this challenging phase of growth and development. I am pleased to be working alongside an established, passionate leadership team which has developed an impressive track record in aerosol dispensing and is shaping an exciting path for the future.”
Katharina Lilienthal, chairwoman of the board of LINDAL said: “Manfred leaves a huge space to fill at LINDAL, and we wish him all the best for his retirement. Bringing Harald on to the management team means LINDAL will not only have the benefit of his wide financial experience, but also his proficiency in driving our growth agenda, in setting high standards and introducing new developments that will make a positive difference across the company, to our customers and secure our long-term financial independence.”
