GDA changes name to Aluminium Deutschland
The Gesamtverband der Aluminiumindustrie has officially been renamed Aluminium Deutschland.
The association said it is taking account of the changed political and social conditions. The firm’s focus is now on the material.
“Aluminium is a central building block on the way to a climate-neutral society,” said Aluminium Deutschland. “The name change expresses the association’s new public orientation.
“The aluminium industry wants to increase its presence in the public eye, intensify the dialogue with the various stakeholders from society, business and politics, and further strengthen the solidarity with customers and politics. This is what the name Aluminium Deutschland.”
