The Comité Français des Aerosols (CFA), the French aerosol industry's trade association, has announced incumbent president Nathalie Thys will depart the position at the end of March 2023.
She will be replaced by Laurent Flond, head of packaging science centre for dispensers & applicators at L'Oréal. Marion Grebert, sales manager at CLIMALIFE, becomes the new vice president.
In a message, Jean Blottiere, general delegate of the CFA, stated that Thys, who is director of sustainability at GlaxoSmithKline, has "decided to continue her journey towards other challenges by going into early retirement."
The ComEx team has appointed new governance personnel so the CFA can continue to grow and meet the future needs of its members, Blottiere said.
"The entire Executive Committee thanked Nathalie Thys for her many years of support of the CFA and welcomed the appointments of Marion and Laurent and thanked them both for their commitment to our industry."The face-to-face General Assembly on Thursday, April 20 will allow adherent members to get acquainted with the new governance of the CFA."
In the meantime, the CFA will have a presence at ADF Paris on 25 and 26 January, for which its members have received a VIP invitation.
