Ball Corp acquires Tubex aluminium aerosol packaging business in Brazil

Ball Corporation has completed the acquisition of Tubex Industria E Comercio de Embalagens, an impact extruded aluminium aerosol packaging firm that includes a manufacturing facility near Sao Paulo, Brazil.

The business is now part of Ball’s aluminium aerosol packaging division, complementing its global aluminium aerosol and slug business in the Americas, Europe, and India. The plant in Itupeva near Sao Paulo includes eight extruded aluminium aerosol can lines and produces personal care packaging for global and local customers in Brazil.
