Cosmosol receives gold rating from EcoVadis
Cosmosol has been awarded a gold rating from sustainability ratings agency EcoVadis.
With a score of 68, Cosmosol secures a place among the top 5% of the world’s 75,000 best-rated companies. The award reinforces Cosmosol’s ambition to become a European-leading provider of sustainable solutions and services in the aerosol industry.
EcoVadis, founded in 2007, tests and rates the performance of companies in areas including environmental protection, labour and human rights, ethics, and sustainable procurement.
In this year’s assessment, Cosmosol achieved a further 20 points compared to the previous year’s score. Discussing the new gold rating, the company said: “We have been engaged in corporate social responsibility for several years and this is the result of a great inter-functional teamwork for pursuing environmental, social and ethical practices goals, present in our CARE programme.
“At Cosmosol, our focus on sustainability is an ongoing and exciting journey. Our efforts have been intensified and strengthened over the last year through the launch of the CARE programme, our sustainability strategy, and all our actions regarding our workforce, the planet, our communities, and through responsible business practices.
“By converting the sustainability aspirations of our principals and customers into innovative sustainable solutions, we want to make a difference and contribute to a more sustainable future.”
