The situation for Coster, like many businesses, was challenging beyond anything we had previously witnessed. First and foremost, our primary concern was the safety and welfare of our colleagues and their families. With this in mind, it meant making many changes to the way we operate our business.
Making our factories COVID-secure and creating a safe environment for our teams to work in was critical to the successful running of our production sites throughout lockdown. By doing this, we have been able to continuously supply many of our customers with vital packaging requirements in the personal and home care industries.
This ability to maintain output is reflected in our market performance, where we have seen and continued to see strong demand for dispensing pumps, spray pumps and pharmaceutical products, as most of these items are employed on hand wash and sanitisation products. The request was strongest for dispensing pumps, with demands well above capacity...
