thyssenkrupp Rasselstein reduces delivery times for steel packaging

Major steel packaging firm thyssenkrupp Rasselstein has reduced the delivery time for its rasselstein® Express packaging steel from 16 days to 14.

The company, which produces steel packaging used in aerosol cans, said the material is now available to order on its website with the improved service. “We are happy that we can present our regular customers an even more attractive offer now when they have a short-term demand for additional quantities,” said Dr Peter Biele, CEO of thyssenkrupp Rasselstein.

“The continuous improvement of our processes enables us to handle additional quantities via our online shop already two days earlier. Our service promise for rasselstein Express packaging steel remains valid, as usual.”

Since the launch of its online shop in August 2018, many customers of thyssenkrupp Rasselstein have used the possibility to meet their short-term demand for additional quantities there. The firm provides its customers with more customised products via the shop, such as products with other dimensions or tin coating weights. The company is currently planning additional functions for its online shop.

“Even if the COVID-19 pandemic presents us with challenges, we are able to maintain our offer of rasselstein Express packaging steel,” said Biele. “This allows us to keep offering our customers an attractive product portfolio that not only contains the high quality of our premium packaging steel, and our personal services, but also flexible and uncomplicated ordering options in challenging economic times.”
