The growth of the aerosols in India has been directly proportional to the growth of disposable income of its population, at least in the last decade, writes Sanjay Malhotra, managing director at Aerol Formulations.
The household insecticide, pharmaceutical aerosols, personal care deodorants and air fresheners have been the main drivers so far, followed by paints, industrial and automotive-use aerosols.
Once considered as a luxury product, the acceptance and use of aerosols has steadily grown and the future holds great promise for the industry.
