Russia’s Aerosolex celebrates one year of successful operations

Aerosolex, the Russian supplier of products to the aerosol industry, recently celebrated one year of successful operations.

The anniversary on 8 September marked one year since the launch of the high-purity dimethyl ether (DME) Propelan®, a multi-purpose, stable, odourless and colourless chemical used by manufacturers of aerosol products.

“Over the course of last year, Aerosolex has succeeded in establishing itself on the market and achieved significant progress in multiple areas,” commented Ivan Kisurin, CEO of Aerosolex. “Due to uninterrupted operations of the plant during the last twelve months, we were able to fine-tune production process and have now reached stable output of high quality DME with minimal operating costs.

“Well-coordinated effort of our team allowed [us] to establish reliable supply chain from the first months of operation. Our approach based on building long-term relationships with our partners enabled Aerosolex to become the biggest producer of DME in Russia by market share while steadily growing export volumes to CIS and Eastern Europe.”

Aerosolex opened its state-of-the-art, high-purity DME production plant in August 2018. The facility, which has a capacity of 10,000 tonnes per year, is located in the industrial area of Dzerzhinsk, in Russia’s Nizhny Novgorod region.

In addition to dimethyl ether, the company supplies other raw materials for the production of aerosols, food and cosmetic products, as well as household chemicals and construction materials. It also offers a range of customised laboratory analyses, logistics support, consulting on product storage, and testing and control of raw materials.
