NiTEO Products has announced the acquisition of long-established household-care manufacturer Faultless Brands, strengthening its position in the home-care market and expanding its portfolio of consumer products.
The deal was completed with Faultless’ former owner, Architect Equity.
Faultless, headquartered in Kansas City, Missouri, has operated for more than 138 years and owns several leading names in fabric-care and cleaning, including Faultless, Niagara, Magic and Bon Ami.
These brands hold significant market share in fabric-finishing sprays and non-abrasive cleaning powders.
NiTEO said the acquisition aligns with its strategy to build a diversified range of high-performance household and automotive chemical products.
Bringing the Faultless portfolio into the group will expand NiTEO’s Household Products division and deepen its presence in the home-care category.
NiTEO chief executive and Highlander Partners principal John Rabenhorst said the addition of the heritage brands would help accelerate the company’s growth.
“Faultless, Niagara, Magic and Bon Ami are highly recognisable and proven performers,” he said. “We look forward to building on their long history and taking these brands to new heights.”
Highlander Partners president and CEO Jeff Hull said the transaction supports the firm’s approach of adding complementary businesses to NiTEO. “Strengthening our household-care offering alongside our established automotive portfolio creates new commercial opportunities and deepens relationships across the business,” he noted.
Hull added that the firm continues to evaluate further acquisition opportunities.
