Meadow partners with Novelis to boost aluminium circularity

Stockholm-based packaging technology firm Meadow has announced a new partnership with aluminium recycling leader Novelis, in a bid to accelerate circularity within the global consumer packaging supply chain.
Under the newly signed agreement, Novelis will become a key aluminium supply chain partner for Meadow’s flagship product, the MEADOW KAPSUL™ — a pre-fill packaging solution aimed at replacing linear materials with circular, infinitely recyclable alternatives.
Novelis, headquartered in the United States, is the world’s largest recycler of aluminium and a major provider of flat-rolled aluminium products.
It operates 31 manufacturing facilities across nine countries in North America, South America, Europe and Asia, and processes approximately 2.3 million tonnes of aluminium scrap annually.
The agreement strengthens Meadow’s industrial ecosystem, which already includes global firms such as Ball Corporation, DRT Holdings and C-CARE, and reinforces the company’s ambition to scale its low-waste aluminium packaging through trusted, circular supply chains.

The collaboration will also support further joint innovation and commercial initiatives between the two firms, focusing on circular packaging formats and solutions for the consumer-packaged goods market.
