LINDAL Spain brings street art to Barcelona office

LINDAL Spain has unveiled a vibrant new artwork featuring the ‘LINDAL eye’ at its newly refurbished sales office in Barcelona, Spain.

The mural was created by international street artist Zurik, collaborating closely with the LINDAL Spain team during a creative workshop organised by artist David Andrew World.

Zurik employed spray cans equipped with LINDAL actuators to bring the artwork to life, while the team contributed by painting sections of the canvas with aquarelles. The finished piece now adorns the entrance of the building.

LINDAL actuators are celebrated worldwide among graffiti artists for their quality, precision and reliability, said the company. As a tribute to street art and creative expression, murals are gradually being installed at LINDAL sites across the globe - from the company’s headquarters in Hamburg, Germany, and factory in Schönberg, to facilities in Harelbeke (Belgium), Briey (France), Columbus, Indiana (USA) and Jundiai (Brazil).

This latest installation in Spain marks the third collaboration with Zurik and the fifth project led by David Andrew World, whose vision and leadership have been instrumental in shaping LINDAL’s growing legacy of art across its global locations.

Zurik reflected on the project: “The performance and precision behind LINDAL’s actuators allow street artists to create both defined and impactful artwork. In this latest project with LINDAL, I am delighted that together with the team in Spain, we have been able to craft something that is truly unique.”

Micaela Conti, Finance Controller at LINDAL Spain, saw the mural as an opportunity to create a vibrant and welcoming space for visitors and employees alike.

“Antoni Gaudí, whose work is prevalent throughout Barcelona, was a great source of inspiration for the design, and I think the style of the piece reflects LINDAL’s association with graffiti. It was wonderful to see our whole team involved in the process,” she said.

The mural forms part of a wider renovation of LINDAL Spain’s office, which has been designed to introduce natural light, retain original architectural features, and create private meeting rooms.
