Leading aerosol dispensing specialist LINDAL Group has appointed Thuy-Tien Nguyen as global sustainability manager, based in Hamburg, Germany.
The new role represents the company’s ongoing drive to strengthen the sustainability credentials of its product development, innovations and manufacturing activities, and to further advance its sustainability strategy, said LINDAL.
Thuy-Tien will be based at the organisation's Hamburg Headquarters, and will be responsible for implementing LINDAL’s Global Sustainability Agenda.
Primarily, this will involve conducting impact assessments on areas such as Carbon Footprint, developing targets and initiatives to improve the company’s environmental impact and delivering LINDAL’s annual Sustainability Report.
Thuy-Tien will also be taking the lead on advancing ESG performance in line with international accreditations and standards.
Holding a Master of Science degree in Biotechnology and Food technology, Thuy-Tien brings solid managerial experience within the packaging technology sector where she has guided the development of packaging solutions for a variety of multinational organisations.
In her most recent post as packaging manager at a coffee and tea brand owner, she led her team in the development of packaging and materials throughout the full product cycle, and in alignment with sustainability and regulatory benchmarks.
As global sustainability manager, Thuy-Tien will report directly to LINDAL CEO, Francois Xavier-Gilbert. He said: “The solid experience and extensive knowledge Thuy-Tien has acquired within the sector make her a first-class fit for the role. We believe she will be instrumental in LINDAL achieving its ambitious sustainability goals and we are delighted she is on board.”
Thuy-Tien commented: “It’s an exciting time to be joining the team at LINDAL and to be part of their sustainability journey. I’m looking forward to leading the new initiatives and projects that will continue to advance LINDAL’s environmental activities and performance.”
