The LINDAL Group, a global leader in aerosol dispensing solutions, has acquired a new manufacturing facility in Wismar, Germany, marking a significant expansion of its European operations.
The strategic investment strengthens the company's continental footprint and production capacity, with the site located approximately 40 kilometres east of LINDAL's existing plant in Schönberg.
The Wismar facility offers 22,000 square metres of usable space, comprising 9,000 square metres of production area, 10,500 square metres of warehousing, and 2,500 square metres of office and social areas. The site is equipped for high-quality polymer processing with clean room manufacturing capabilities.
Operating as a satellite to LINDAL's Schönberg facility, Wismar will further strengthen the company's European capabilities. As a brownfield site, it enables faster production deployment compared to greenfield alternatives, with substantial pre-existing infrastructure and excellent logistics connections supporting quicker scale-up and improved customer responsiveness.
LINDAL will invest a further €17 million over the next three years to adapt the site and introduce advanced production technologies, including state-of-the-art automation, upgraded equipment and improved material flows. The investment positions Wismar as a key component of LINDAL's "factory of the future" vision.
