Lending a hand

Leon Finn, aerosol technical specialist at R.A Jones, shares his experience of coping with the challenges posed by the COVID-19 pandemic.

The aerosol industry has faced many challenges since my first involvement back in the early 1980s. When I started in the industry, our company was known as Aerofill but after many acquisitions, the Aerofill brand is now known as KP-Aerofill and owned and operated by R.A Jones, a Coesia company.

Aerofill is still a name badge worn proudly and still being shipped and serviced from manufacturing facilities in the UK and the US. Since the company’s formation over 60 years ago, it has led the development and direction of aerosol filling, processing, packaging and closure across all continents.

The industry has come a long way - back then the market players could be counted on the fingers of one hand, now there is a telephone book full industry suppliers and partners.
