Launched in September, Eviosys is ready to take on the challenges surrounding sustainability in packaging. World Aerosols caught up with the company to find out more about its ambitious plans.
In September this year, Eviosys launched as a newly-formed, independent metal packaging firm. The new company, a portfolio business of KPS Capital Partners, was launched as KPS completed its acquisition of Crown Holdings’ Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA) metal packaging business.
Eviosys is now Europe’s largest manufacturer of steel and aluminium food packaging, with hundreds of global and regional food and consumer product customers. Headquartered in Zug, Switzerland, Eviosys – which derives from the Greek word for ‘sustainable’ – produces food cans and ends, aerosol cans, metal closures and promotional packaging to preserve the products of hundreds of consumer brands. Here, World Aerosols speaks to Eviosys’ marketing director, Laetitia Durafour.
