In conversation with Fabio Barozzi
Since graduating in engineering from Milan University, Italy, Fabio Barozzi has been dedicated to the aerosol industry. Launching his career with well-known firm Coster, Barozzi stayed with the company for more than 20 years, before deciding to put his knowledge and experience into designing new technology for aerosol production.
Working with a team of specialists, Barozzi developed new machines and patented technologies for propellant filling at Alphasol. When filling machines company Cosmar was sold in 2018, he was asked to consider joining the company and direct the developing process to take Cosmar to expand its technological offering. Together with his team, Barozzi joined Cosmar in 2019. In March 2020, the firm renewed the board and he became managing director.
“As we know, 2020 will be remembered for the pandemic and for the lockdown that many companies had to get over,” said Barozzi. “But for me, it is also the year of renovation, where a new approach is applied to the business.”
