FLADA (Latin American Aerosol Federation) has celebrated a historic milestone by officially registering in Public Registry No. 80, in Mexico City.
This achievement materialises a dream that began 46 years ago, during the 1st Latin American Congress of Aerosols, with the aim of strengthening the regional market and promoting integration between Latin American countries.
Founding representatives from four countries – Angel Rasgido (Argentina), Alyne Freitas Silva, Msc (Brazil), Carlos del Canto y Inácio (Chile), and Juan Buenfil (Mexico) – participated in this memorable moment.
During the 1st Constitutive Assembly, the positions of the Steering Committee were defined, and ABAS assumed the Secretariat, reaffirming its commitment to excellence and unity of the sector.
Structure of the Steering Committee:
• Presidency: IMAAC – Mexico
• Secretariat: ABAS – Brazil
• Treasury: CADEA – Argentina
• Auditing of Accounts: CCA – Chile
The ceremony was marked by the oath of the board of directors, symbolising a commitment to ethics and integrity.
The event concluded with a special fraternisation dinner, where leaders, such as Ángel Rasgido, were honoured for their dedication to the sector.
"For ABAS, being part of this historic milestone further consolidates its role as a player in the development of the aerosol market," said the association. "This union represents more knowledge, new business opportunities and greater strength to face the challenges of the future.
"ABAS is fully committed, body and soul, to this successful partnership, now under Jaime's management.
"To our associates, we leave a message: the future promises great novelties!
"Latin America has never been so connected or so ready to grow."
