France aerosol filling activity 2019
At a time like this, it feels somewhat arbitrary to discuss what happened in 2019. Nonetheless, analysing and understanding aerosol filling figures can help us to better predict the state of the industry post-pandemic.
On 1 June, the Comite Francais des Aerosols (CFA) released the aerosol filling activity figures for France in 2019. Despite a slight decline, the figures were a good indicator of “industry dynamism”, according to the association.
The CFA said the slight decrease in volume was expected and relatively small, with the industry remaining a stronghold in Europe. Notably, the statistics showed that two segments are in slight decline – body care and household. The body care division is a well-established category in France, but saw a 3% decrease in 2019.
